Right in the middle of Japan lies the Chita-gun district. Dominated by the sea and a view to the mountains, it`s just the right place for producer Yoshiyuki Ota. His “Feeling the sun” EP drives on this smart, yet dreamy guy’s fast-paced output on labels such as CroRoom, Ambber and Mystic Carousel. Seven tracks of sundowner house are served here in all impossible Mandelbrot fractals and fluffyesque clouds. The title track imagines fog where there is only one pure yellow light at the horizon. What follows to that is a reminiscence and a new thinking of old-school intelligent dance music, the infamous book on butterflies by LSD-inventor Albert Hofmann, arpeggios, space and…laziness. C`mon, here`s the drops.
