Drew Miller is a passionate producer of electronic music from Glasgow, Scotland. He’s at his happiest when he’s up all night producing something melodic with a touch of quirkyness. With releases all the way back to 1992 making music has and always will be one of his biggest pleasures in life!
Talking about quirkyness, his second release for Emerald & Doreen, Germany’s friendly neighborhood label, includes quite some curious creatures, amongst them:
The microscopic larva, the Sacculina carcini is a zombifying parasite that invades and controls crabs then uses them for reproduction of its own offspring.
Crotalinae is a Pit Viper characterized by the presence of a heat-sensing pit organ located between the eye and the nostril on either side of the head.
Tiktaalik were something special; with a combination of features that show the evolutionary transition between swimming fish and their descendents, the four-legged vertibrates including amphibians, dinosaurs, birds, mammals, and of course, humans.
Mythical creatures from the film of the same name, inspiration for this track came from the moment the ungainly land roamers discovered they belong in the water.
